On leaving Paris and finishing my studies, I started to work for the University of Edinburgh in 1999 and became their French translator in 2000 – a position I held up until the closure of the Translation Department in July 2010 when I took over their client list (including the French Consulate in Edinburgh). I have also been working regularly with Landmark Press for the past twenty years, which has led to the site www.bienvenueenecosse.com. (ongoing).
After graduating from University, I began my career in EFL (English as a Foreign Language) and Business English in Italy and continue in this field in the UK. I also regularly collaborate with Tradlab and my work comprises a collection of French poems translated into English and published in an Art edition. I have also edited an anthology of literature and a collection of poems.
“In 2014 and from 2020, we at TRADLAB started undertaking proofreading, copyediting, rewriting, formatting and checking of manuscripts in British English, American English and French for Academic publishers in the UK, France and Hungary.”
French translator of the French Consulate in Edinburgh and London providing official signed and certified translations for use in UK, France and globally.
